A: rentyourbooks.com provides students with the opportunity to easily rent and sell their textbooks. You don't need to buy a book every semester. Save money by renting them instead! You can then just simply return the book(s) at the end of the semester.
Q: Isn't this competing with my school's bookstore?
A: Yes! That is a good thing for you. As a college student, money is usually tight. We provide a cheaper way for you to get the books you need for class. One of the best parts about it is, you don't have to wait in line to buy your books, nor do have to wait in line to sell back your books. So really, Rentyourbooks saves you time and money!
Q: How can I tell what books you have available?
A: We have a list of our available books online! Click here (hyperlink to search page) to search for books by title or by their ISBN numbers.
Q: Can I sell my books to you through your website?
A: Currently, rentyourbooks is renting and buying books at a location near your school. Come by the store to buy or sell your books If you have multiple books you would like to sell and cannot make one of our buybacks, please email us. (I don't know the policy on this now. We may have to get more specific here)
Q: Where are you going to be buying books at?
A: Please check the homepage or click on your town to find our exact buyback location. If you do not see a location for your town we will have one soon, so be sure to check the site again. (are there multiple locations?)
Q: How much does it cost to rent books from Rentyourbooks?
A: It costs between $10 - $40, depending on the book, per semester.
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me when I come to get a book?
A: Yes! Bringing your I-CARD will make it easier and faster for us to get you the books you need.
Q: What happens if I forget to return the book?
A: When you rent the book, we put your information on file. That information will be used to charge you for the price of the book if it isn't returned.
Q: When can I come get my books?
A: As soon as you have your book list, you can come into the store and get the books that you need.
Q: When do the books need to be returned.
A: Most students leave as soon as their finals are over. Thus, the books are to be returned by the end of finals week.
